About Dr de Villers
DR DE VILLERS SPECIALISES IN ARTHROSCOPIC AND JOINT REPLACEMENT SURGERY OF THE KNEE AND HIP.
He has experience in computer navigated total knee replacement and direct anterior approach total hip replacement surgery. Dr de Villiers obtained his MBChB from the University of Stellenbosch in 2009. He was made a fellow of the College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of South Africa in 2020. He also obtained the Masters of Medicine degree and received a distinction in his research thesis.
Dr de Villiers has a special interest in patient-specific technology and robotic solutions.
Having over 12 years’ experience, Dr de Villiers has performed many total hip and knee replacements. His passion and commitment to providing a high level of care enables him to help his patients achieve the best possible outcomes.
In his spare time, Dr de Villiers loves spending time outdoors jogging, mountain biking, swimming, ocean paddling and hiking.
